PRIVACY POLICY.
JunkZip operates a paid directory of junk-removal companies in Miami-Dade County. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
01 · WHO WE ARE
JunkZip is operated from Miami-Dade County, Florida. Throughout this policy, “we,” “us,” and “JunkZip” refer to the directory operator. You can reach us at support@0arch.io.
02 · WHAT WE COLLECT
VISITORS: When you search a zip code, we briefly process the zip and basic request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) to serve the page and protect against abuse. We do not require an account to search.
HAULERS: When a hauler signs up, we collect business name, contact name, phone number, email address, business bio, logo, and uploaded license and insurance documentation. Once a hauler subscribes to a zip listing, we also store payment metadata returned by Stripe (subscription ID, customer ID, status, current period end). We do not store full credit card numbers - those are handled by Stripe directly.
SUPPORT EMAIL: If you email support@0arch.io, we receive and retain whatever you send us so we can respond.
03 · HOW WE USE IT
- Operate, maintain, and protect the directory.
- Display approved hauler listings (business name, bio, phone, logo, founding-member badge) to customers searching a zip.
- Send transactional emails about your account: signup codes, status changes, billing notifications.
- Bill haulers for active subscriptions and reconcile with Stripe.
- Detect and respond to abuse, fraud, or illegal activity.
- Comply with applicable law.
License and insurance documents you upload are not displayed publicly. They are visible only to JunkZip administrators during the vetting process.
04 · WHO WE SHARE WITH
We share information with a small set of service providers who help us operate JunkZip:
- Stripe - processes hauler subscription payments. Card data goes directly to Stripe.
- Resend - sends transactional email on our behalf.
- Cloudflare - hosts the site, the database, and the document storage.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run third-party marketing trackers on the site.
05 · COOKIES
We set HttpOnly, signed session cookies to keep you signed in to the hauler portal or admin area. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on the public site at this time.
06 · YOUR RIGHTS
Florida residents have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, and similar rights apply to other US residents under their state laws. You may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Ask us to delete your information (subject to legal retention obligations - e.g., billing records).
- Ask for a copy of the information you provided in a portable format.
- Opt out of any future sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. (We do not currently engage in either.)
To exercise any of these rights, email support@0arch.io. We will verify your identity before responding to a deletion or access request and reply within 45 days.
07 · DATA RETENTION
Hauler account data and listing media are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to handle disputes and meet legal obligations. Audit log entries (status changes) are retained for at least seven years for compliance. Webhook and request logs are short-lived.
08 · CHILDREN
JunkZip is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
09 · SECURITY
We protect data with industry-standard practices: TLS in transit, signed session cookies, scoped database access, and document storage with private-bucket gating. No system is perfectly secure - if you believe your account has been compromised, email us immediately.
10 · CHANGES
We may update this policy from time to time. The “effective” date above will reflect the latest revision. For material changes affecting active haulers, we will email a notice.
